For this weeks writing we had to choose a food and write a story about it as if it was loved by every one so this week have chosen this to share with you here is what I came up with.
There once was an ice cream with joy and love to give. He was known for being the happiest one in town and all the children loved him, but one day came upon him a frown. It was such a hot day that everyone wanted an ice cream like him Mr ice cream of course to cool them off, but so many people bought them that he was the only one left in the shop. All of a sudden came upon him a shadow a very big one and then a child's hand reached out to grab Mr ice cream “oh no” he screamed he quickly jumped out of the freezer but it was so hot that instead of jumping he started bumping into things. He said to himself, “this can not happen, I will not be eaten, today my journey starts to find a place where no one loves me and where no one want to claim me as there's”. So there he set off to find a new home. He started to walk until someone started to talk and then they grabbed a fork it was obvious to him that they were hungry and if he was seen he would be eaten in one bite so he started to run and hide by now it was time that he had started to melt and there was a cozy house close by so when no one was looking, he decided to sneak in through the window of the house and then he set up his plan to get to the fridge and then he saw a bridge he had an idea if used his sticky hands to climb into the fridge he wouldn't melt click click click went his sticky hands along the fridge there he was inside his new home “oh no” he said the owner of the house called Lucy opened the fridge but instead of eating him Lucy cared for and kept him alive. So there Mr Ice cream was living a great life in his new home with Lucy his best friend.

Animal airline's
This year for silent writing we had to go to Pobble 365 and find an image to wright about. I chose a photo with a lady holding a baby on a plane with animals surrounding her. Today I am going to share with you a few paragraphs of what I came up with. Be sure to check out Pobble 365
Animal airlines
Goo goo ga ga here comes Indie into the office and oh no she’s found the computer left open she threw her hands on the keyboard click click click she had deleted the tickets. She clicked one with an elephant on it because its her favorite animal. Indie heard Evelyn's footsteps and went to hide but she couldn't find anywhere to hide and accidentally sat on the printer underneath the desk beep beep beep went the printer she sat on small sign that says print. Evelyn came and sat on the office chair squeak last week Evelyn didn't share her cupcake with Indie so Indie wanted to get her back so she decided to put a whoopie cushion on Evelyn's seat to distract her from her being under the desk. Evelyn went to look under the desk for the printer “Oh look mum must of printed out the tickets for me” said Evelyn without noticing Indie under the desk. As Evelyn left the room Indie followed her into the car ready to go to the airport when she was putting her suitcase in the boot of the car the tickets fell out of her hand and Indie caught them in her hands.

The summary of my European summer holiday
A few days before we due to leave for our holiday I went and got my suitcase so I could start packing, obliviously packing winter clothes when I was going a summer climate would be pointless so I had to reach to the very back of my wardrobe to find my summer clothes because I new that it would be hot very hot and when and I mean hot because there its a minimum of 30 degrees plus. On the day we had to leave my dad took us to the airport and although I was going to miss my dad I was looking forward to seeing my family in Malta.
My Nanna (grandma) and Nannu (grandpa) were so excited they even called us while we were at Christchurch airport checking in our bags ready to leave. Unfortunately I had to leave my dad for four week as he cant come with us straight away because he had to some work before he could come. We boarded our first plane and our European summer began, our first 10 hour flight was to Singapore, second flight was to Frankfurt and finally our last flight was to Malta where my Nanna, Nannu, auntie Fleur and my cousin Kai were waiting at the airport. It was great to have finally arrived after such a long journey, immediately we felt the heat as it was mid thirties.

Dear Elizabeth
I am very sorry to say farewell. I am going to ride a waka right across the ocean to try find a new
start to life I don't know what I will find there and if I will survive thats why I am sending this lette
r to you. I am bringing with me five fish, ten fruit and thirteen bali loaves and I also have a hole trunk
off clothes pieces of paper and a pen to write letters plus some things for survival I don't know how long
I am going to be on this boat for but people have said that it could take up to two months roughly so far I
have seen so many things such as wildlife and I can hear a faint sound of birds tweeting further ahead of
me I had some water but I drank it all so now I have no choice but to to drink salt water it is nothing like
home but its beautiful what more could I ask for anyway the trip was horrible I could not even sleep because
of the loud sound off water crashing against the waka it sounded like someone was banging a hammer
against the waka and when I looked ahead of me all I could see was fog but it was worth it because we
found what we were looking for and we just arrived on a beautiful piece of land, we decided to call it
Aotearoa, the land just looks like dirt dirt dirt with some hills and a few puddles of mud it is a rough
start but I can definitely see a better future living here I just had to carry my trunk all the way up
over a hill and my skirt got ripped from all the rocks we made some huts and were trying to find
a way to make a stove so we can cook some food on it

Thursday sport
Thursday sport!
Every Thursday this term we do sport. Korfball first we got split into four groups then we waited till our group was called to go downstairs. we were taught by a man who was from the Netherlands, first he split us into two teams and we then started to play. Korfball is like both netball and basketball and you are not allowed to step or to dribble with the ball the are defenders and attackers to. It is so much fun and I glad I got the opportunity to learn it. Lawn bowls , first everyone got ether a green or purple ball. The people with green balls are in a team and the people with purple balls are in a team you are in a circle and you have to roll your balls in to the middle to get into the hula hoops in the middle I really enjoyed learning something new and I would gladly do it again I still have to do cricket and I am looking forward to it.

My journey to Malta
My journey to Malta
The plane ride
ring ring ring it was seven o'clock I woke up filled with excitement knowing that in only two days I was going to be standing right next to my family so I got up and got ready as fast as I could I had to do a little bit of packing before we were ready to leave but before it was time to leave I felt sad because... we sold our house so that morning was the last time I was going to be in that house. When we were in the car we realized that we had forgotten to eat breakfast. When we arrived at the air port
we checked in and had breakfast. Next we had to leave our dad and get on the plane to Singapore the plane took off whoosh I watched many different films and highly enjoyed the plane ride. The plane landed and my ears started to hurt we got off the plane and walked into the Singapore air port the
The plane ride - part 2
Singapore air port was so big so we had to stay right next to each other at all times we felt so hungry so we tried to find some where to eat. I ate a big spring roll it was nearly twelve and I was feeling so tired it was now time to board the next plane to Frankfurt. When we were waiting to get on the plane I was so tired that I nearly fell asleep on my mum's lap this plane went on for twelve ours I slept on the plane for plane for eight ours in the other four ours I played games watched movies and ate food we arrived in Frankfurt we had had to rush because we only had an hour and a half in the airport when had checked in there was half an hour left so we got something to eat finally we went on the next plane to Malta this plane was 2 hours long the whole time we stayed on out iPad's because there were no TV's we were at our destination ...Malta I was filled joy and happiness we got out luggage and saw our family yay!.
la crema siciliana
in the afternoon on June 28th we went to a coffee shop called la crema siciliana to get ice cream. I went with my cousin kai my sister Jules and my aunt Fleur I chose to have pistachio and chocolate ice cream flavors my sister and my aunt had the same but my cousin does not like ice cream so he did not get any ice cream instead he got chips. My cousin down loaded a dare game on his phone so we played it we had so much fun and we were laughing our heads off my aunt even had to dance with my sister in the middle of the room we left the coffee shop and went home.
My beach party
I woke up felling more exited than ever because today I was going to have my birthday party. As soon as we arrived I kept on asking my mum can we set up the party can we set up the party because at the beach my mum had booked a room for my party a soon a we set up everyone I invited had come we swam for ages and then we got a little hungry so we walked back to the room and then we each ordered a meal from the restaurant. Then we got eat the cake I was so exited because I had no idea what the cake looked like at all. All I new about it was that it something to do with a rainbow when I saw my cake I was shocked I loved it. after we had eaten the cake I got to open my presents for my presents I got a charm for my charm bracelet and a 75 euro voucher for Pandora. We swam in at night and the water felt so warm then after a bit we got out the water and ordered a Margarita pizza as we still felt a little bit peckish then since it was very late at night we had to have a shower and go home I loved my party and I wish I could have done it all over again.
Meeting our friends
After we had got home from the beach we had to rush to get ready because our friends Pete, flair and there three children Pearl, Rex and ruby I was so exited to see them after seven years the last time was when they used to babysit me. ding ding ding went the door bell finally they were here first I showed Pearl and Rex around the house they liked mine and my sisters toys so they played with them for a bit and then we got out a game to play with soon later I was felling a little hungry so I had some cake left over from my birthday party then my mum asked me look after ruby since she was only a baby so I sat down and played with her on the mattress it was getting late and ruby was very tired so we had to say goodbye.

As soon as we had decided to go see the movie Lion king with our friends Bea and Melanie we packed our bags and waited for them to pick us up. When we finally got to the cinema we gave them our tickets and we went into the cinema. I decided to have some popcorn and a coke. As soon as the movie started the lights turned off, everyone went silent and the movie started. At the start of the movie I didn't think I was going to like the movie but I did end up loving it. At the end of the movie we took a photo in the lion king backround outside the cinema then we went to the coffee shop to meet everyone at the coffee shop. We made fake tattoos with our friend. When it came to dinner time we walked to MacDonald's and had dinner there. When we got back it was time to head off and go home.
The rocky beach
Me and my sister wanted to go to the beach so we went to the beach with my mum,sister,dad and my cousin but the beach we were going to wasn't just a normal beach because instead of sand it was all rock. Half way through our journey to the beach the car broke down so my dad had to fix it, as soon as the car was up and running again we continued going to the beach. As soon as we were there I put my swimsuit on and jumped in the water straightaway because it was so hot. After swimming we went snorkeling for a bit and then we did competitions to see who could jump the furthest in the water. Then had a snack while watching my cousin jump into the water from the rock hill. we were getting tired so we decided to go home.
Splash and fun
As soon as I woke up I felt thrilled because today we were going to be going to splash and fun one of the best water parks in Malta when we got there we got our tickets and we went to find sunbeds. When we finally found somewhere to sit and then we went on the water slides. I decided to go on one of the slow ones first I chose to go on the white slide when it came to the end of the water slide I shot out into the pool where the water slide finishes. Then me and my sister went on the lazy river it really slow but it was so much fun. Then i went on the yellow slide which was a bit faster than the white slide, my sister Jules went on this slide with me and we both really loved it. Then we went on a bigger and higher slide called the Black hole, on this slide you need to go on a single or double float. The first time on this slide i went with my Dad on the double float, it looked really scary but it ended up to be so much fun, from there i went with Mum and then on single floats with Jules. Afterward once we had had lunch which pizza and chips we went in the wave pool which awesome. Later in the day I decided to go on the purple and yellow slide with my cousin Kai at the start of the slide it was slow but then I went zooming down the slide I tried to look up but water was splashing in my face so I had to close my eyes hen the slide was over me and my sister got a hair wrap and then we were going to go on the lazy river we had to leave so we got an ice cream and left.

The new ideas I have now I’ve read this text are:
- Give everybody free solar panels.
- Try biking or walking to school
- Use beeswax wraps
- Turn of a light when you are not using it
- Get a compost bin
- Get a worm farm
- use reusable containers
- Pick up rubbish
I now better understand that if we do not make a change the earth will die and we will die with it. We are
harming the planet by what we are doing and there are many solutions to fix this but we haven't done anything
to stop this. If we really do care we need to work our hardest to make a change so that we can stop the polar
ice caps melting. 😃
