Peacock fountain VS Eiffel tower

Welcome back everyone, this week for reading we had to create a Venn diagram about a famous landmark and a landmark in NZ, I chose the Peacock fountain and the Eiffel tower we could choose to do this with four, three or two landmarks but I chose to focus on doing two so I could give the reader more detail in my writing. Welcome back everyone, this week for maths we had to learn the strategies of Enlargement, Translation, Rotation and Reflection, we had to create three strips using Enlargement, Translation, Rotation and Reflection with a base shape and our own koru design. WHAT'S A PA . . .

welcome back everyone, this week at school it was PA week, so for all of our tasks this week they all had something to do with PA'S. you may be wondering what a PA is. A PA is a like a village that a tribe would stay in to stay safe, they usually had trenches and underground tunnels. 

For our reading task this week we had to create a real estate add for a 2021 version of a PA, for mine I created my own real estate logo called Pa Estate and I wrote a lot about the PA and why it was great to have one. Heres my create😆

For our maths create this week we had to design our own PA. we could do this with a buddy or individually I did this with my friend Elise make sure to check out her blog too. In our PA we used different features to and created our own traps. Heres our create😇

WHY WELLINGTON . . .

Hi guys welcome back, this week in Kaupeka (year 7/8) for writing we had to make up a question about NZ and its history. Mine was WHY DID THE CAPITAL CITY NEED TO CHANGE AND WHY WELLINGTON ? then we had to write 2-3 paragraphs about our questions. We  had an option of display our learning using a doc or a google drawing I chose to use a google drawing. When I first started to write about my question I wasn't to sure what I should write but in the end I figured it out. when we had finished our writing we had a workshop where we could show our learning to the class.
