What Is Emotional Literacy?

Welcome back to my blog, this term our PBL is based around the Pursuit of happiness. This week we did a small task based around it, part of being happy is emotional literacy. What is emotional literacy? emotional literacy is knowing the difference between emotions and how to handle them. Our task was first sorting out different emotions on a chart showing the energy level and pleasantness, next we wrote do what annoyed us, made us mad, what made us happy, made us feel anxious and what bothered us. here was my task😁

edges, vertices and surfaces- week 9

welcome back, this week for maths we had the same goal as last week but we had a different task. in our first workshop we created 4 3D shapes in groups of two or three I was with Archie and Cory, then we took photos of the shapes put them on a google drawing and wrote down the dimensions of each shape. here was my create.😃

EDGES VERTICES AND SURFACES

 Welcome back this week for maths our goal was identify and sort two and three dimensional shapes into classes, defining properties and justifying the decisions made & relate three-dimensional models to two-dimensional representations, and vice versa. We had to use an online 3D shape tool to create two 3D shapes and a 2D version of each one, then we took a screenshot of our shapes, put it on a google drawing and wrote the edges, vertices and surfaces. here was my create 😁

Should we keep pets?

Welcome back this week for reading our goal was select from a wide range of genre when reading independently. We had to read 3 articles with different genres from kiwi kids news and then put the articles we read on a google drawing with our opinion on it. I read Should we keep Pets? Medsafe approves Covid-19 vaccine for over 12-year- olds and Water in olympic pool turns green. here was my create for the week😂

Welcome back, This week we had to do maths knowledge, we each choose a goal from the options we had and then work out questions using that goal in our maths books, my Goal was Recall all multiplication fact to 12x12 😁

Bertha the blubberer

Welcome back bloggers, this week for reading we had to choose a fiction book from the library and then create a character web about the characters in the book, my book was Bertha the Blubberer from the worlds worst Chilldren by David Walliams. the book was about an eight year old girl who loved pudding, she loved it so much that she would hurt and injure herself and blame it on her brother so that she could get his pudding when he was punished, one day when she came up with a truly evil plan, she was going to pull chunk of hair of her head so she could just get more and more and more pudding when she went to do this she cried and yelped but no one came running to see if she was ok so she kept on yanking out her hair til she had none left her parents and brother were all watching so then she was never aloud pudding ever again. this was my character web😌

Top team tasks

Welcome back! This week for maths we had to learn about perimeter, area, volume and conversion. We watched videos to help us understand the goal and then we worked out questions in our book, for the create task we had to create a top team game, top team is a team challenge that we do in groups each year. this was my task enjoy😝
